« A Sanctified Year Diary »
My new book! It’s finally arrived!
Advice to become a Reader and a Writer
The best way we can become writers is to keep a journal. Nowadays, with technology, people have no longer time to read nor to write. If you feel that you don’t read and write anymore, this book is for you. This is not a meditation book where the author is preaching. I share some introspection on different subjects based on some circumstances in my lives according to how they reflect the supernatural experience of God’s grace.
The reader is also suggested to read in English or in French or in Haitian Creole a Bible passage or a verse, and the author’s thought with a question to prompt the reader to write his or her own personal thought. There is not enough room to write a lot of the space provided to answer the question. But if you really want to adopt the habit of writing, you can have a separate notebook to write your short meditation. The moment you begin this spiritual journey with fidelity, this experience should give you a special divine connection, peace of mind even in the chaotic world we are living in.
Moreover, you can have the opportunity to pray with thoughts based on the Scripture Reading of the day by communicating to your Heavenly Father. There is also space in this journal to write down the names of the family members or loved ones that have a birthday or an anniversary, including prayers requests for them. This is a good way to stay connected with loved ones. If you dedicate only 15 to 20 minutes a day to use this journal for a year, I think, you will be surprised how you will experience a sanctified journey in terms of discovering God’s purpose and grace for you, which will push forward in the path of love and service. In other words, live in His name and for His glory!
In short, meditation is reflection and contemplation. It is my hope that many of my brothers and sisters will adopt this journal to develop a deeper connection with their Heavenly Fathers. The goal here is to use it as a weekly or a daily guide for a sanctified communion with our Heavenly Fathers. And, we can begin any point of the year.
About Adrienne Aristil
Adrienne Aristil was born in Haiti Where she lived her early childhood and moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, at the age of thirty. Despite her professional background in her native country she was afraid about immigrating to the United States. She didn’t think she would be able to integrate herself in the country academically, professionally, or socially. So, she thought if she could just speak a little bit of English, she could survive, but she would not be able to go to college. However, God had more in His plan for her. To make her story short, she went to school and received her bachelor’s degree in social work at the age of thirty-eight from Florida Atlantic University. She became a teacher and continued to study to be certified in four subject areas in the Florida’s school system. She got her master’s degree in educational leadership, and in the summer of 2009, she was awarded a scholarship from the French government to study the strategies of teaching the French language and culture through art, music, and drama.
Adrienne Aristil is currently teaching French World Language and Cultures at Village Academy where she implements cultural activities afterschool for students through French Club and many guided visits at the museums and French restaurants.
She also has implemented at her church community a Socio-Cultural French Club named (CLALFA) and a ministry of a group educators from different Palm Beach community schools with the mission to promote education, celebrate and encourage all school-aged students and college-bound or vocational bound church members.
In addition, recently, Adrienne Aristil as “Sister Adrienne,” just extended the CLALFA Club to other friends and family members living in other states or countries to become an International Club of Love Ministries, not only to express the love of Jesus among them through spiritual and social-cultural exchanges with the mindset ‘s challenge to produce the fruits of love, hospitality, and compassion for each other; but also as a club of Love Ministry where each member will be paired up with a child from an orphanage in Haiti to provide financial support to help him or her reach an education level of middle or secondary school, eventually a profession before the age of twenty. Basically, this movement is called Advocates for the Less Fortunate Children Cooperation (ALFCCO) for “Mentoring an Orphaned Child in Haiti to make a difference in his or her life.”
Sister Adrienne is also a published author where she already published two books, “It’s Only by the Exhibition of His Grace…” and “Pour le Reste de Sa Vie…”, and many magazines for her church. She communicates her love for Jesus and people with passion through writing and videos vlogs. She writes to connect with others and to share stories of grace through spiritual walks and epiphanies of the daily life of a Christian under the auspice of the Great Architect, the Mighty God!
Adrienne Aristil as Madame Aristil, has also created a “French Course in association with the Haitian Creole” where each video through videos and scripts with the explanation in English includes a broad series of lessons and activities that offer opportunities to students to be engaged in the language learning by comparing the structures of three languages.
“I am a teaching in a district where there is a large population of Haitian Creole descendants. Even though French is also the official language of Haiti and their Creole is based predominantly on French, most Haitians do not speak it because the structures of French are not the same with the Creole ones. That’s the reason why it is very challenging in the classroom. As a teacher, I am always willing to do anything necessary for the success of my students. Personally, I always research many different strategies to teaching the French language. In the past, my goal was to become a French curriculum developer to help establish many more French programs in the public schools at the elementary level. However, as I have been pounding on the difficulty to teach French, since I am a Creole speaker myself, the idea to create a French curriculum in association with the Haitian Creole language came to me.”
